Comes to mind a great book of a friend of mine, The Magdalene Gospel:  a Journey Behind the New Testament by Yuri Kuchinsky (500 pages, Roots Publishing Toronto 2002,2005) ISBN 0-9737530-0-5



First modern English translation of the old English document known as the Magdalene gospel. The single copy of this manuscript was found miss catalogued under a different title (either by mistake or more likely on purpose in order to hide it) at the Magdalene College library, University of Cambridge, hence the name, others have also refereed to it as "The Pepysian Gospel Harmony", however the standard description for this manuscript is MS Pepys 2498.
